Today, Netflix revealed a story of love, laughter and familial antics in its latest film, A Soweto Love Story, which is set to debut on 14 February 2024.

After longing for a makoti to expand the Ngubeni family and instil the significance of genuine love and companionship in her all-boys household, Bongekile (Duduzile Ngcobo) decides to take drastic measures. The Ngubeni matriarch challenges her three unmarried sons: the one who ties the knot by the New Year will be the rightful heir to the Ngubeni family home.

This sparks an intensely competitive and hilarious race against time as the brothers – played by Lunga Shabalala, Sparky Xulu, and Ray Neo Buso – navigate the unpredictable landscape of mjolofontein with the coveted family home hanging in the balance.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, including the incomparable Monnye Kunupi, Sihle Ndaba, Didintle Khunou, Motsoaledi Setumo, and the hilariously entertaining Skhumba Hlope.
