It has been over two months since one of Africa’s top premium festivals, Rocking The Daisies announced their first headlining act, ‘Snoh Aalegra‘ who is a Swedish singer and songwriter. They now return with an even bigger announcement for hip-hop lovers by adding multi-talented rapper and producer, Smino to the line-up alongside the one and only, Mick Jenkins. This follows Rocking The Daisies’ record breaking moment which saw them rapidly sell out their first phase tickets and second phase tickets with only one headliner.
Mick Jenkins has been in the game for quite sometime garnering himself major love and support from fellow South Africans through his highly profound lyrics and great production including his versatility to various sounds within the Hip-Hop space. It has been over 7 years since Mick performed in South Africa so this will be a lovely reunion for him and his fans. Smino on the other hand has had a span of over 4 years since he performed in South Africa which was for an ‘In The City’ event so this is also a beautiful reunion for him, his fans and the Steyn Entertainment family.
