The scale at which Amapiano as a genre has grown, on an international level is astounding to say the least. Many creatives of the genre are being uplifted and are taking up all the space. With that said, Kabza De Small has been credited with being a co-producer for Drake’s ‘It’s a Blur’ tour, along with 21 Savage.

The announcement of this major opportunity is not only exciting for Kabelo himself but South Africans as well. It marks a significant moment for his career, as well as acts as a testament of how profound the South African music space has become. The tour will be running from July 5th in Chicago, Illinois, and will end in Columbus, Ohio on October 9.

A collaboration of this type for Kabza de Small was bound to happen, sooner or later due to the global recognition that has already been bestowed upon him. Aside from being one of the genre’s biggest pioneers, Kabza acts as an extension of how the homegrown genre that is amapiano is received by the world. Additionally how the world perceives the South African music scene.
