It is always a beautiful experience when you witness the growth of a music producer as they elope over to creating their own music. One that has landed on our radar is BoART for his May released project titled ‘The Next Wav’. I first heard of BoART in the course of May ending through a submission made to our emails. I at first did not know how to approach this piece as I stumbled upon a writer’s block and normally this happens when I feel challenged to try a new writing style or simply struggle with connecting with the work.

As time went on, I gave the 4 track EP a listen and to my realisation I began to understand the direction that this tape was taking from the well curated sounds in each track to the well layered verses from Montagioo. ‘The Next WAV.’ explores the various worlds of BoART and Montagioo as they gradually express their journeys and experiences to life in different artistic mediums. From setting more mellow tones at the beginning to a more vibrant tone at the end is a quite mind blowing experience.

BoART and Montagioo’s connection is quite undeniable as they united with the aim to create music that speaks to every single individual that may be going through the worst time in their life or a great time in the life as it accommodates everyone. It is a must add to your library especially if you are looking for music to relax to and gather your thoughts.

I love what I do on a daily basis as I get to help out fellow African creatives spread out their work to the world. I am a diverse individual as I do not limit myself to one group or type of content. I am always open to receiving new work from other individuals as that is my way of maintaining the culture in quality form.
