The song is a journey and a half as I listened to it multiple times before finding my words to describe it fully. In the song, you get to be moved by a well strung guitar in which Anita Auden guides with her soothing vocals.
“Interested” taps into a feeling of fulfilling love which she would love to express to her partner, she further sings out her promises to her lover and sparks out a well penned message of vulnerability. You practically get to be in her mind for a split second as you picture that one ideal partner who makes you feel safe, loved and appreciated even in the hardest of times in life. We are not perfect as we all come with our flaws and essentially relationships are just another exploration journey to which we learn that we can all be loved and appreciated even with our mistakes as everyone deserves to be loved.
This is a very beautiful song as I would deem it as a generational love letter more than anything and trust me when I say that you will be left moved by this artistic piece which she holds close to her heart. I honestly cannot wait to hear what more she has for us in the coming months as she sets the mood and tone for the month of love.
