Bulelwa Mkutukana better known as Zahara was a pioneer and a role model to the eyes of many as she first broke through into the industry in 2011 with her hit single “Loliwe“. She has garnered multiple awards in the midst of her career as well as performing on major stages across the country. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of the talented Zahara. This follows her admission in hospital 2 weeks ago for liver complications as she experienced physical pains which required medical care. Fans and industry colleagues have since poured out their tributes to Zahara.

This album broke records at a time when we were being told that albums are not selling anymore.
I went to go buy my own album to contribute to the success. One of the best music albums to come out of Africa! Ulale ngoxolo sis’ Zahara 🙏🏽❤️
