This year’s edition of #JWxRTD is just around the corner, and the annual music and lifestyle festival has amplified the excitement among fans with the latest unveiling of the roster of artists set to grace the stage in October alongside artists such as Stormzy, Ayra Starr, J.I.D, Denzel Curry, The Vamps, Westside Boogie and more.
South African music lovers are set to be treated with an incredible performance on the Johnnie Walker Jungle from the ‘Psychedelic R&B’ protagonist Aria Wells, known professionally as Greentea Peng. The South London born and raised Neo-soul songstress who has been likened to Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse for her husky toned vocals and spiritually enlightened lyrics has Mzansi eager in anticipation for a once-in-a-lifetime performance which can only be described as a psychedelic cocktail of R&B laced with the soul, dub and reggae set to send good vibrations, messages of self-love and enlightenment throughout the crowd.
Greentea Peng was announced alongside several exciting local talents such as Lloyiso, Shortstraw, Neon Dreams, PHFAT and Internet Girl. Ranked #34 on Billboard’s 50 Best Festivals Of 2022, as well as #1 by Yomzansi in South Africa, Rocking the Daisies is Mzansi’s biggest annual festival – attracting thousands of music lovers from across the globe with a diverse, multi-genre musical experience and lifestyle offerings across food, fashion, art, technology and wellness.
