Black Coffee continues to make history and pave the way for many South African artists and DJs as he took to his socials to announce not so while ago his show at New York’s prestigious Madison Square Garden venue.
Black Coffee stated in his caption on Twitter, “It’s always been one of my biggest dreams to take this music and sound to the highest level possible and to expose it to the largest audience imaginable and so I’ve dreamt of my @thegarden debut for many years —it’s finally a reality!”
This is a major acheivement as he follows other fellow African artists such as Burna Boy and WizKid to perform at this state of the art venue. It isn’t everyday where one gets invited to perform at this spacious venue although Black Coffee is well known for having sets across the globe in spaces that some of us can only dream of going.
This is only the start to something far more amazing. Wishing him all the best with the show in October and may it open up many other doors and possibilities not only for him but for other South African artists and DJs.
