Tyla is on the rise and she is not coming down! She has made incredible waves within the music industry on a global scale to which she is even supporting Chris Brown on his ‘Under The Influence’ European Tour. As supporters and fans of Tyla, we can only make a guess of what could be next for her.
The uprising of her career started out when she released ‘Getting Late’, following it up with a music video in collaboration with Kooldrink and is now signed to Sony’s Epic Records. Crafting her career didn’t start with that single song though, even before that she released short clips of herself covering songs on Instagram and gained a wonderful band of followers in pursuit of her star-powered career. As her fame grows, and her talent becomes more widely recognised, it is so pleasurable to see her travelling and being captured in so many beautiful and celebratory spaces. Images of her at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Italy, to which she was sitting front-row, alongside various A-list celebs. At the exclusive dinner, she mingled with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Ashley Graham, June Ambrose and J Balvin. She attended the show in a stunning avant-garde look, harnessing her star-studded power.

The influence of her musical presence has rippled through the music industry, far beyond what she initially anticipated. In her travels, her performances and sheer stage presence is exulting and provides euphoric experience. Not only are her moves majestic, but she carries an energy in her music, making her performances electric, natural and captivating. It’s evident that the stage is where her enthusiasm and talent takes centre stage.
Tyla has also expressed how passionate she is about her career and her vision for herself. As she preps towards her debut studio album, awaiting is the anticipation for her releases. She has noted that gratitude, further developing her craft as well as her family are her prime reminders to keep going. I believe that she serves as an inspiration to many young South African artists to be able to see themselves beyond the spaces that they think that they can be and look forward in witnessing her journey!
