Stakev closed off the month of September with a new project release ‘Bittersweet’ ushering Amapiano lovers into summer. In this project the ‘Kwenzenjani’ hit maker has worked with renowned industry acts such as Kabza De Small, Focalistic, Ch’cco as well as the ‘uMlando’ hit maker, Toss, to mention a few. This star-studded project is a blend of bitter & sweet elements; it is set to take listeners on an unforgettable sonic journey filled with contrasting emotions and unexpected twists of pure music feel mixed with the streets. This is what Stakev had to say about what ‘Bittersweet’ means to him and what he’d want it to mean to its receivers:

The 13-track album drop comes after the release of ‘Rekere’ in February 2023 in which Stakev collaborated with Kabza De Small, which has itself has garnered above 5,3 Million streams in South Africa.
