Uprising rapper, Scumie continues to expand her name through her artistic approach to her craft. It has been a week since the release of her 3-track single “DRACO” which features tracks such as “Shots”; “Bean” and “Dim out the lights”. The single takes you through a more modern approach to the trap sound with her transition between rapping and subtle singing. It is a core representation to her versatility as each track uniquely showcases a multi-personality through the lyrics and instrumental as her storytelling continuously details her truth.
The single has since landed Scumie her first ever “RAP LIFE” Africa playlist cover which is one of the biggest Hip-Hop playlists on Apple Music. This is a major achievement as she continues to push her craft independently with the help and support of her team and distributor “SOLDistro“. As Scumie continues to grow, may she continue to pave the way for fellow independent artists that are creating music of a similar sound. The single is solely a representation of her talent and skills within the music space. This accolade follows her feature on the “MTN Pulse Virals” which is a music TV Show on Channel O amongst other great acts. The show allows viewers to embark on a journey where the artists are put to the test in one house with multiple mentors coming each week to guide and test their abilities.
