As days like Valentine’s Day come and go, do you still feel the love you felt before? If you don’t, then here’s an EP that will put those romantic impulses back into your heart.
‘From Me, To You’ is the sophomore EP by Pretoria-based RnB singer/songwriter Dxniel Fxbres. His government name is Daniel Vunza, and he oozes everything we want and need from our RnB artists. The 18-year-old Fxbres delivers the post valentines gift on Friday, February 17, available on all DSPs. ‘From Me, To You’ is released under the singers’ Fxrbes Entertainment under exclusive licensing to Afrisounds Ltd. Afrisounds is a leading music consultant covering global territories worldwide, specializing in music licensing, influencer marketing, and streaming promotion.
The lead single, “I NEED U,” is a headbanger and a sweet, honest moment between him and an alluring love interest. Even though he is still in high school, the single comes across as an itch for mature love. Hopefully, he can enjoy the comfort of this love with someone he can’t live without. He says that this EP is him “expressing his feelings and thoughts about a love interest,” who he wraps with his undivided attention in every song. What’s more endearing than a lover who is sensitive to your needs and intentional about fulfilling them?
“From Me, To You” is a refreshing pivot from his debut EP, This Is Me, released in 2022. He led with unapologetic self-confidence and an Imma-do-me attitude but opens up his life to love this time around. Besides, there comes a time in every artist’s life when their thirst for liberty takes over their personality. However, he now craves an unproblematic connection where he can slow down and look. Coming face-to-face with life’s deepest insecurities has changed his perceptions of relationships.
Dxniel Fxbres is part of the wave of young artists who popularize speaking openly about being sensitive and emotional through their music. In the track “Call You”, he insists that he needs someone to talk to and asks if he can call you. The melody is hypnotic yet soothing, making it easy to listen to over and over again. Dxniel’s in-vogue look and relatable sound are ready for the mainstream. In truth, 2023 could be the year when he makes his mark.
Dxniel, pronounced Daniel, began his career in late 2018, producing beats for himself and writing songs about the lessons he’s learning about love’s sweet and sour parts. Those moments forced him to face himself and his flaws and imagine a world where he could be better and be more. The replay value of the EP makes us and his fans excited for his future too. Furthermore, we plan to keep an eye on him because we feel that he will be a star.
Listen to “From Me, To You” and pre-save all his future releases on a DSP of your choice.
