Nasty C Embraces The New Year With Two New Singles “coMPRess” and “See Me Now (Remix)”

Following the release of his 4th studio album “I Love It Here” is multi-award winning rapper, songwriter and producer, Nasty C as he returns with two brand new singles “coMPRess” and “See Me Now (Remix)” that fall under the “Ivyson Pack” which is a first of it’s kind for his “Ivysons” community. This is Nasty C’s first release of the year and it is quite off to a great start. He first teased the single ‘CoMPRess” over promo assets that he was rolling out for his “Ivyson Gaming” E-Tournaments with the first one being for ‘Call Of Duty: Mobile’. The e-tournaments granted his fans that loved gaming to stand a chance to win a grand prize of R5 000 as well as an opportunity to game with the superstar. They now return with an e-tournament for “Call Of Duty: Warzone” Mobile game on the 7th of April.

Outside of organising the e-tournaments, Nasty C is here to keep his fans entertained through long lasting quality music as his two track single “Ivyson Pack” details a journey of love, hard work and growth which Nasty C compliments through his well detailed lyrics and word play as well as beat selection. The rapper dropped the two singles on Thursday, 4 April 2024 in quite a spectacular manner. Each track was given it’s own spotlight instead of going the route of a single pack, he chose a structure that will allow for his fans to understand each song and the different sounds they portray. We first heard “See Me Now” on his 2023 album “I Love It Here” where he featured Manana on the song but he now returns with an international feature on the remix without Manana as he aimed on giving it a different touch and feel.

The remix features American R&B singer-songwriter, Maeta as she brought added her feel of love through her velvety vocals and easy to catch lyrics. Nasty C then taps into his rap bag in ‘coMPRess’ as he expresses the amount of pressure and problems that success comes with. He further touches on his current focuses in life and goals through his rhymes and beat switch up. Both singles are a great listen as they showcase two magnificent sides of Nasty C that some fans have fallen to love in over the years. It is the first “Ivyson Pack” so hopefully we can expect more with time but for now let us celebrate and enjoy the fabulous work that Nasty C has shared with us.
