Up and Coming singer and songwriter, Mia is back with her 2nd single offering titled ‘Closer’ which she collaborates with award winning producer, Here Cut The Lights. Closer serves as the lead single to her debut EP ‘The Other Side‘ which is set to drop on the 16th of June (based on Apple Music, might change depending varying circumstances or reasons).
‘Closer’ is an infusion of two sounds which is Afro-Beats and Trap-Soul as it touches on a particular lover which she is willing to go the extra mile for as she wants to get to know the individual further and is willing to risk it all for them. The song is quite easy to the ear as it offers rhythm through the flow of her voice and beat. It is a gentle song that many can resonate to especially those in a relationship or in a talking stage of a relationship. Mia showcases her writing style in the song and without a doubt establishes on what we can expect to hear from her forthcoming EP.
