Known for his trendsetting ways is Pitori Maradona himself, Focalistic as he celebrates life with his brand new 9 track project “13 POS” which consists of some of the crowd’s trending favourites from “Tsoma Rona” to “Lephodisa” and “13 POS (Ke Bo Mang)“. Focalistic first hinted at new music over the course of the holiday season through teasing “Lephodisa” and “Tsoma Rona” over numerous content pieces across his socials and at gigs. Through teasing some of these songs, he was able to study and evaluate with the team as to which song works and best communicates with his fans to further allow him and the team to best navigate with any new music for release.

He took his fans by surprise when he announced the release of the project on his socials as many were beaming of excitement on socials considering the latest trend and dance for “13 POS (Ke Bo Mang)”. This was strategically good and well mapped as Focalistic prepares to celebrate his birthday in style with his fans across the continent. Each single featured explores a variety of sides to the Barcadi Sound which allows Focalistic and the featured artists to connect on a different frequency through their songwriting styles to their delivery of their contributions to the songs.

In the project, Focalistic mostly collaborates with the “PSL” crew as well as Mellow and Sleazy to bring in an outstanding production level to this special body of work. As usual, Focalistic did not hold back with storytelling as in some songs, he portrayed a highly relatable storyline about possibilities and dreaming big as when your time comes no one can stop you mainly in “Schwarzenegger”. The project truly stands out as it is a core representation of the “Barcadi Sound” which supposedly stems from Focalistic’s homeground ‘Pretoria’.

Focalistic is a testament of what it looks like when you work hard and invest back into your community of fans as he dedicates this project to them and all they have done to contribute to his success. It is released with the aim to celebrate all the good moments with the people that you love essentially for him, his forthcoming birthday on the 28th of May so they all get to have fun together through the music. It is a must add to your library if you are looking for a body of work that will unleash your joyful and fun filled side as well as lift up your spirit on bad days as Focalistic infuses relatable storytelling over groovy beats. I personally rate this a 8.8 out of 10 as the high production and sentimental value that it posseses for both Focalistic and his community of fans.

It really upholds his brand to higher standards as he continues to grow in this life thing while doing what he loves. As he prepares to enter into a brand new chapter in his life, let us celebrate his journey and accomplishments through his brand new offering “13 POS”.

I love what I do on a daily basis as I get to help out fellow African creatives spread out their work to the world. I am a diverse individual as I do not limit myself to one group or type of content. I am always open to receiving new work from other individuals as that is my way of maintaining the culture in quality form.
