Following her open verse challenge for her latest release ‘Loving You’ is our very own RnB superstar, Elaine as she shares her story on love and all the elements that come with it but she isn’t alone as she chose her best verse which was from Blxckie. They then collaborated to complete this masterpiece.
We get a totally different version of Elaine as she brings a touch of vernacular in her verse with her singing it in Zulu. The song speaks on the limitations that society has set out about a relationship but she refuses to settle to those standards let alone believe that those limitations are real. If anything she sings out her love for her ‘person’ as she expresses the extent she is willing to go for the relationship as long as it is mutual and the love is real. She will continue to love him to infinity same thing with Blxckie and his woman.
‘Loving You’ is a very delightful musical gesture that many can resonate with as Elaine infuses the South African culture through language as well sounds. It is more of a mixture of RnB with a touch of Amapiano. Blxckie really came out with his soothing melodic voice which I felt gave the song the much needed sparkle it deserved. You will definitely enjoy the listen as it is not only easy to listen to but also prepares us for an amazing weekend filled with nothing but Love and happiness.
