Following the release of her two lead singles ‘Animal’ and ‘Apply Pressure’, Chante sets the tone for Pop music with the release of her debut album ‘Rarity’, which encapsulates a listening experience of 12 tracks.
‘Rarity’ is an infusion of Pop, R&B, and Alternative, which is fully reflective in the opening of the album till the end. Chante first started working on the album late last year with the collaboration of various songwriters & producers from across the world.
The project was created with the aim of experimenting into a new sonic emergence for her brand on a more international scale. Through this experiment, Chante has been able to explore numerous themes across the album such as love, heartbreak, unity, healing, peace & joy.
Each track expands on its own storyline, which is well layered by Chante’s soothing and warm vocals, whilst setting an upbeat and yet relaxed mood and tone. ‘Rarity’ is just the start of a brand-new journey in which fans will get to experience song by song, step by step, and word for word by the day. It is a world set on numerous love hiccups that many may have experienced across the world and can resonate to.
It does not only assert one’s value in every relationship they engage in but also gives them the understanding that everything you do for yourself or others is precious, no matter the value as you would have invested the most rare element to life which is time as you cannot retrieve nor buy more time, hence each part/chapter of this journey is built on ‘Rarity’, moments that we cannot forget due to the significance they hold to our hearts.
