Cassper Nyovest has been gradually leading us towards his 7th studio album “Solomon” with the release of his lead single “018” featuring Maglera Doe Boy which he released on the 7th of September with stunning visuals. Cassper Nyovest has since blessed his fans with the full length project which features a journey of 11 tracks with apearances from, ‘Windows 2000’, ‘Nobantu Vilakazi’ and ‘Nasty C‘.
In the album, fans get to embark on a expedition of rollercoaster emotions as he touches on a journey of self introspection from the times of being under HHP’s wing to filling up arenas and stadiums as well as extending his streams of income from liquor to clothing and brand deals. He then pays his respects to all the fallen soldiers including the late Kiernan Jarryd Forbes famously known as, ‘AKA’ in the song “Candle Light”. “Solomon” is a sole representation to the direction of rap music as Cassper plays around with various sounds from Drill to trap and hardcore rap as he showcases his daily inspirations within music as his love for music roots from old school hip-hop. The project allows you to understand the vulnerable side of Cassper Nyovest which is a side we rarely get to experience and many can resonate to the stories expressed by him.
This is not only a project for inspiration and motivation but also an open book to what life really is about whether you have got money or not, stay chasing for your dreams as anything is within your reach if you decide to believe.
