South African born, multi-genre rapper, producer, and singer-songwriter, CaseKlowzed recently released his highly anticipated EP, “Mxed Emotions II.” The latest release follows the success of his previous trap and hip-hop leaning work. Mxed Emotions II is an afro-pop inspired project that demonstrates CaseKlowzed’s versatility and establishes him as a rising force to be reckoned with.
“Hopeless” is the 3rd track on Mxed Emotions II, a heavy Afro-RnB track inspired by a lack of hope and by the rising star. CaseKlowzed on this track, you can hear CaseKlowzed plead his partner at the time not desert him and leave him “Hopeless’ ‘. A heartbroken CaseKlowzed paints a story of the pain that he has caused her and portrays his remorse. He states his case and asks her to return to love and rebuild their hope in each other.
CaseKlowzed expressed the following when asked about the single, “I wrote this song when I was in love with this other girl and at some point in our relationship it felt like she was letting go of what we had built. I remember telling her not to leave me hopeless even though I had put her through so much pain”.
