It has been over a year since Bugzito released his debut album “DILO TLHAKANA” which featured the likes of Thato Saul, Chad Da Don, Lolli Native, Zimkitha and more. He now returns with his first single of the year titled “DI DENG” which is an infusion of Kwaito, Hip-Hop and Barcadi sounds as he defines it as ‘STOFO’.
“DI DENG” explores a world of possibilities as reaffirms himself that he still has that spark and love for what he does even with the change of times or eras, he will stand true to who he is and the type of art he creates. The single serves as a self-affirming message to himself as he recognises his hard work and journey to get to where he is and he knows that he is still the star he thinks he is. Bugzito expresses this through his lyrics from a catchy hook and ear grabbing verse. He details the impact that the sound has in his life and in the life of others as they move to the rhythm of the beat in a carefree state.
“DI DENG” is a must add to your library as it presents a feeling of nostalgia if you grew up around Kwaito and olden day vernacular rap which is the type of music you can listen to when trying to relax or have some fun with your loved ones. The single set the tone for Bugzito as he plans on bringing the feeling of happiness with a sense of relatability through his unique storytelling abilities and different production. I cannot wait to see where the journey takes Bugzito this year but I am wishing him nothing but a fabulous and productive year for him and his team as they take a risk that many are scared to embark on.
