Following the successful release of music architects, Artwork Sound’s much-anticipated new album, The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds Chapter II, the pair has finally released the visuals to their single, Awesome God.
Since the release of the second installment of their brand-new album, the duo has been on a national tour spreading the gospel. Their lead single, Awesome God recently struck gold, as it peaked at #24 on Radiomonitor this past week. The latter is a great achievement considering that Awesome God is a gospel single.
The pair also released visuals to this amazing singalong. The Awesome God music video was directed by Dubelicious and depicts a very powerful narrative that portrays Artwork Sounds as saviours of those who are lost. According to their gospel, the pair believes that they have been sent to the world to save and heal people through music.
‘The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds Chapter II‘ continues to echo the soothing soulful sounds with the spiritually filled gospel samples. However, on this chapter, The Bishops experiment with new sounds borrowing the expertise of their brothers and sisters in Music.
With two parts, this album is apportioned into Disc One (Side A) where you will find the classic, soulful Artwork Sounds signature you have come to know and love and Disc Two (Side B) is the more experimental sounds that touch on the afrotech, broken beat, with a fresh twist of the amapiano bassline “the log drum” while still staying true to deep and soulful DNA.
The Album features names such as: Kabza De Small, Dj Maphorisa, Russel Zuma, Murumba Pitch, Brian Themba, Zano, Soul Freakah, Kemy Chienda, Coco SA, Just Beebar, Mr Brown, Chronical Deep, Hypaphonik, Bukeka, Shazmiksoul and SGVO to mention a few.
