It has been over a year since we received any new music from Tshego so best believe that this very moment is precious to many as he utilised the track release to announce to his fans that his 2nd studio album is almost ready and that this tune is simply just to set the tone for this project as it is more than personal. Tshego’s journey has been one of patience and growth as he focused on refining his sound further in a manner that can allow him to project his painful and joyous moments in life in the most artistic manner possible through his God given gift.
‘Just The Start‘ is all about him addressing all those that doubted him and his comeback. He further raps/sings on how he allowed his conversations with God allowed him to get back on his feet after enduring the darkest time in his life, he had to push to find the light. In great essence this allowed him to press the reset button and regain himself again whilst working on music that many can relate to which is what the single gives off through the inspiring lyrics, catchy flow and easy hook. He later accompanied the single with an Anime styled visualiser which is quite cool as it further guides the story in preparation to what we can expect in the album. The single is worth every listen and repeat as it details Tshego’s journey in a summarised form leaving room for more.
