It has been over 10 months since the initial release of Nasty C’s ‘Ivyson Army Mixtape‘ which featured hit singles such as ‘Loco’ with Cassper Nyovest, ‘B@r’, ‘Stalling’, ‘Aye’ with Blxckie and Emtee, ‘Born To Win’ with Emtee and more. The project received a lot of love from fans as it was an appreciation gesture to the ‘Ivysons’ for all their immense support across the ‘Ivyson Army Tour‘.
He now returns with the official music video for ‘Born To Win’ with Emtee which were shot in a variety of locations including the USA. The visuals are texture rich and eye grabbing as you explore Nasty C exploring Rodeo Drive in Bel-Air as well as Emtee in the glamorous mountains/cliffs of Cape Town. They then unite in Johannesburg as they are walking with an entourage whilst singing their lungs out.
‘Born To Win’ is an anthem to many creatives and individuals that are genuinely working hard to get out of the struggle and just do better not only for their immediate family but as well as their chosen family. It is a stride to many on to why they should never give up on their dreams as at some point it will all work out. Just simply believe in the craft and yourself.
The visuals compliment the message in a very much creative manner with the used VFX as well as the storyline as each element details the song with slight depth. They are a must watch as they are easy to watch and very much addictive to the eye. Nani Chehore and Spha Hlongwa definitely went all out in terms of visual delivery and content direction and we cannot wait to see more visuals from them.
