A-Reece is known for making timeless music that seemingly never ages as it sounds new each time you listen to it. Today we celebrate one of those masterpieces namely known as ‘Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory: the mixtape’ as it turns two.
The mixtape features a variety of artists to add to your listening palettes such as Wordz, Jay Jody, Stogie T, BeloSalo and Ayanda Jiya. The project was released on the same day as his younger brother’s birthday @onlyonekaydence so, happy birthday to the young brother and let us celebrate his birthday with some fine tunes by his older brother A-Reece.
A-Reece released this project after his two year hiatus from the music space to fully focus on this masterpiece. It was a first of it’s own from him as we got to experience A-Reece’s music taste on a more matured level even the substance within the lyrics was highly relatable to all of his fans and you could tell that when he wrote each song, it was more than experience for him, which makes sense on why took this long to drop it. This followed his announcement of his partnership with global distribution company Platoon which assisted him with pushing the project including his releasing his first visuals on Apple Music as most visuals were just released on YouTube.
Celebrating the 2nd anniversary of this project really touches me as it illustrates on how far A-Reece comes through his improved ear for classical music, his consistent pen game and biblical references.
Let’s re-embark on A-Reece’s journey through ‘Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory: the mixtape’ below:
